i got a file to fix my problem i tried to put it on the sims 2 pets disk one but it didnt let me.then i tried to copy the disk and chane it from that disk but no it was COPYWRITED.

I downloaded the Sims 2 Pets and at the end of the installation it asked me for Sims 2 disk 4, so I put in disk 4 in and it says that it did not complete the installation and says 'the installation will now terminate'! I tried again but it came up with the same thing the next three times! Can anyone help or know what to do??

I have purchesed The Sims 2 Pets aswell as The Sims 2 and when I finish The Sims 2 Pets install it says "Insert Sims 2 so we can update your product" so I insert The Sims 2 and it comes up with a message saying "Insert Sims 2" I press okay sevrel times!! Can Anyone help me??? Please? |

i've had the sims 2 since it came out and i had no problems until i bought the sims 2 pets, it wouldnt install at first. got to about 97% and a message came up sayin tht it couldnt copy a support file of some sort. some how i tried 2 install again and it worked. i had to get by computer restored a couple of days ago and lost everything! and now my sims 2 pets wont install at all and comes up sayin that there is a different problem now. .
" A problem occured when trying to transfer the file 'D:\TSData\Control\control0.dat' from the media.
the options say "retry" or cancel, ive tried to press retry and it just pops up again!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE will someone help me.
