DVD CD-ROM PROBLEMS!!!
My DVD/CD-ROM drive ST3200822A or HL-DT-ST-DVDRRW-GWA-4164B (E:) is not responding on my Windows XP SP2 Compaq Presario SR1517CL desktop...I can not even download the required updates. |

Hi Frances,
It sounds like your drive might have a hardware problem and needs to be replaced with a new functional DVD/CD-ROM unit. If you find a better way to fix it, let me know!
