and chose the driver
and the sofware 5.78Mo

Well, it doesn't work. The driver from the HP site cannot recognize the drive as RW under WinXP. My Nero does not pick it up as RW, hence useless. Any help would be appreciated!

Yes I know this is ancient. Used to save family tree discs in 2003, Only discs left after major disaster. Lost hard drive and newer discs. Have 1 disc CD-Writer Plus. Does any one know how to unlock thes discs. They wont open just notepad that says they are disaster recovery discs. Thanks Redhead Joan

I have lost my software for my HP CD Writer 8200 Series. My hard drive on my laptop (Windows 2000) crashed and nothing could be retrieved. I would like to put the software on my desktop which has Windows XP. Is it possible to do that?
