You are the man! I spent at least 20 hrs downloading different software patches and nothing worked until your directions.

To all others:
After Eric's step#15, if a " Found new hardware" message does not come up, it is not a big deal.
However, make sure that you do the step# 18-22 because default printer is LPT1 and you need to change it to "USB".
