restarts when I close my wireless connection
I have a Compaq presario 5000, with 1.1Ghz processor and 512 ram. My Dlink Airplus Xtreme G ( DWL-G520 ) restarts my computer each time I close my wireless connection. The computer worked fine when I removed the wireless card and installed an ethernet card and hard wired it to my router. Is there a compatible internal wireless card for my computer? |

Hum...what are the system requirements on your Dlink Airplus Xtreme G (DWL-G520)?
I had a tough time once getting a wireless card to work on an older computer. I ended up trying three different cards before I could find one that worked (which resulted in a couple returns to the store, and some restocking fees to pay).
Sorry, I don't know what the specific issue might be. Maybe someone else knows.
