cd rom drive won't work at all..........
My cd rom won't work, device manager says that all drivers are fine.
restore point didn't work, deleted upper and lower filters and that didn't work, tried cleaning the rom, that didn't work.. updated drivers..
can see it's enabled in bios and windows sees the drive..
it just clicks when I put anything in..lights do come on..
I have windows xp dell d600 latitude laptop and a samsung sn s324 cdrw ..
please help.. was working fine, we don't even use it much..
only major thing downloaded to computer was i tunes for a ipod....
