I have 2 files one for vol 1 and other for vol 2 .This files are setup.ex and in the installations ask for name ,phone and activation key before installation .I dont have this information . Somebody help me or have this information.

Follow Giancarlos steps on original post once you have saved the styles in a folder really anywhere on your computer, then open proshow producer program, place the first slide in new show, click on slide from menu, manage styles, import, open folder to import from, go to the saved folder on your computer, right click on the style you want, click on rename, copy the highlighted style, paste on file name in the open folder to import from, choose from pop up names, then open, then done.
this will save the style in the program |

Asp Many many thanks for the link.
Is' more simple to extract the files.
Extract the executable installation file and :
Start the installation (launch the excutable file).
Insert a casual activation key and press enter
DO not close the installation window!!!!
Now see in disk C: ->documents and settings -> folder with your user->local settings->Temp
there is a folder named mvu..... (subfolder "Styles")that contains all stylepack files.
Copy these files in a new directory and rename they in *.PXS.
Now you can close the installation windows and open proshow producer 4, add one picture to a new show and after select it and in the main menu select slide-> manage styles-> import.
Chose the directory with the PXS files and import they (one by one) in the proshow and Enjoy!! |

Giancarlo,
The easy way to send a file that size is to zip it first like you have then upload it to www.sendspace.com
Then you can send Aspe the link to download the file.
BTW .. I had posted previous that once the file extention names have been changed it's easiest to simply copy them into the styles folder in Proshow rather than going through the manage styles process.
All the styles work fine for me this way. |

I tried the suggestion of inventing an activation key but it fails at the online activation dialog.
Does anyone have a link to the uncompressed/extracted pxs files from Vol 2 and Vol3?

Managed to figure out where the mvu directory was hiding and used Giancarlo's method to get the files.
To rename them I used PS Filerenamer from Polarsoft.
Still need a like a link for Voulme 3.

If you are running Windows 7 there is a little change on accessing the Temp file.
First, in Windows 7, Documents % Settings is just a dummy file-It contains absolutely no info and it can't be accessed even with permissions. Instead the is an wasier way to get to the Temp file
In the start menu Find 'Run" In the dialogue box type %temp& hit okay and U are automatically there. There U will find the mvuxxx file. select it and click proshow producer and you're in

I am having trouble doing the method for volume 2. I make up a key and click ok but I get an error saying activation failed and I cannot seem to locate the temp file. I am on windows 7 is there something I am doing wrong? |

Setup will be decompressed into a folder inside your system temp dir! In My Pc I founded in C:\Documents and
Settings\My Name\Configurações locais\temp\mvu183.tmp
Copy to another folder (for example: C:\Desktop)
Close setup.exe without install it
Open C:\Desktop\mvu183 folder...inside there is a new setup (600Kb)
Open this setup using WINHEX (I used this) or other hex editor
Search this string: support/software/activate
Go back from this string to www.photodex.com and there is a sequence before www.photodex.com that is 05 00 00 00 01
Change 01 to 00 and Save
Run setup and enjoy the installation without serial and activation...

Realmente funciona...
Gente, basta seguir as orientações passadas por "AnOnYmOuS"...
É a melhor maneira de instalar TODOS os pacotes de expansão!
É um pouco complicado achar o arquivo "TMP", por que toda vez que você tenta intalar algum pacote o nome da pasta muda... Ex: "mvu48A.tmp", mas o início é sempre o mesmo: "MVU"... isso nunca muda! A melhor maneira de achar o arquivo é mandar localizar todos os arquivos "*.tmp" assim que começar a instalação do pacote...
Depois basta você copiar a pasta localizada para outro lugar qualquer e utilizar qualquer editor Hexadecimal (eu usei o "Workshop Hex Editor" )para alterar o arquivo setup.exe da maneira que o "AnOnYmOuS" nos orientou, algumas mensagens antes dessa...
Depois é só executar! Vai instalar e nem vai pedir nada de Nome, telefone...ou serial....
