Hp all in one printer,Copier,scanner
I need help,My scanner works good then I put in the windows disk to get my printer up and runnin got a message saying that a newer version is already on my computer so I pluged in my usb cords and when I go to for instance
to print a poem off my poem site I push the print and all thatv happens is my paper goes ibto the printer and goes up around and comes back out with absolutly nothing on it everytime.What am I not doing right or how can I correct it?

Hey there Rhondie...
I Advice you to 1st of all, try printing something else or from a different program , if it prints normally then it's the website's problem. which can be solved by copying and pasting in Word.
2nd check if during inserting the ink cartridge u removed the tape that comes under the ink. (meny ppl forget to)
3rd if the previous cases do not work, try uninstalling the software of ur printer . (it needs a bit of a professionals work) sorry i won't be able to explain it here...

I am not sure whether the problem is my All In One HP PSC 2410 or my hard disc, but every time I use the scanner of my All-In-One, after 6 or more pictures scanned, I start hearing a sizzling noise followed by clicking sounds inside my computer. At one time, the Windows XP popped a message to close or discontinue because of an error that may only damage my computer. My computer runs smooth until I use the scanner.

My promblem is that my hp all in one 1300 scanner will not scan I just get a err messages that say ( can not find the file C program file hp digital imaging bin hpqkygrp ! I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times but stell it dose not work ! have have windows 98 and really need some help please tell me what I can do to fix it thank you if you can help

My problem is my all in one printer won't scan it says check the usb. I unpluged the printer and restarted the printer and it doesn't work. The printer works fine except it won't scan.

Hi Martha,
To scan a picture or document using your HP Deskjet F4135 printer/copier/scanner, try following these simple steps:
1) Launch the HP Photosmart Software
2) Place the document or picture face down on the scanning surface.
3) Close the lid
4) Click the Scan button in the HP Photosmart Software.
5) Look at the preview on your computer screen and make any adjustments as required.
6) Click on the Accept button in HP Photosmart.
Please note that in order for this to work, you need to have both the HP printer drivers and the HP Photosmart software installed.

The copies have blank areas across the paper, my ink is 3/4 full, and I just went thru the clean print cartridges. |

I tried these steps, but my Photosmart software doesn't even have a scan button...
It's really starting to tick me off that it won't scan...
It will print and copy, but I can't scan any photos to my computer, which is the reason I got this printer in the first place. |

Do I need to change both cartridges in my printer to print? I changed my black ink, knowing my color ink is empty too. But due to finances at this time I could only change the black. My question is do I need to change both to work, because right now I'm ONLY printing blank pages. Nothing is coming out on my paper. |

Andi - I have EXACT same issue. My scanner worked fine. Then one day it just quit. I tried to put IP address of scanner in IE and that allowed me to 'preview' a scanned pic, but soon as I clicked 'scan', it just clocked and did nothing. I'm beginning to hate HP. |

My printer is installed on my computer. It will print doucments and copy documents. However it will not scan my pictures and let me copy/change/print them. This printer/copier/scanner worked on my old computer but will not work on this one. I have tried to download the disk that came with the printer and it will not download. |
