RE: code 39 keyboard win XP

You genious you! I'd like to hug your mind! :-)
I haven't been able to use my puter for 4 month and was about to reinstall the XP system,
but thought I might do torough search on the Internet first and luckily found this precious
TIP!
Erased extra info besides "kbdclass" in all the "Upper filter" and "Lower filter"-keys found
when searching for "kbdclass" in regedt32, had to use the "on screen keyboard" to do it.
Removed the installed drivers from device manager, keyboard first then the USB mouse.
When it froze I removed the USB connector. When reconnected it was properly recognized
by the device manger along with the ps/2 keyboard and the correct drivers loaded.
The info which I erased was from uninstalling ThreatFire earlier. The uninstall didn't
remove a pointer to "tfkbmon.sys".

I'm happy again!

RE: code 39 keyboard win XP

YOU ARE MY HERO!!!!. I printed the instructions and it only took me 2 times to get all the details right. It feels soooo good to be typing on my keyboard instead of using the on-screen keyboard.

Again a big hug and a million thanks.

RE: code 39 keyboard win XP

guys I have been working on this issue now for 3 full days this is on a Server, Malware killed my filters fully erased them, got the mouse working but the keyboard filters are missing and I don't' know which reg entry I need to add them to, I tried pulling them from another 2k3 server but no luck. Can anyone here assist me?
