ok, this is what you do put in download software for lexmark x4270 in the search box search then go to Drivers and Download Lexmark page should come up click on dowload and drivers make sure you insert with your search what windows you are using

I hate Windows Vista with a passion. I have tried every site that claim a driver for the Lexmark x4270 running Windows Vista, including the Lexmark site. Everyone give an error message "..cannot find the specified file" The file in the driver folder is win_xp2k. I'm convinced that there is no Vista driver. I have had other problems with Vista and other hardware. Is there a patch that makes Vista think it is XP? |

Hi Perry,
Are you maybe running the 64-bit version of Windows Vista?
There could be an issue with the Vista driver released by Lexmark, but there was a positive comment on our driver download page for the X4270, saying "Very Useful with Vista" which would seem to indicate that that particular person had success using the driver on windows vista.

how do you use fax machine and telephone line at the same time. The only way I can recive faxes is to turn on the auto answer button, this interferes with incoming calls.? |
