Anybody who is looking for a serial code in order to install their Sims game is out of luck.
Each disc is imprinted with a unique code and will not install with any other, only that one code.
Anybody who is looking for a serial code in order to register their game online and use thesims2.ea.com's many locked features is really actually looking for trouble.
If you are caught using another serial code, your account will be permanently banned.
Also, it is extremely hard to find an unregistered code now, as many Simmers are more likely to register their game as they install. And many people who give out serial codes are also banned from sites such as thesims2.ea.com and even Yahoo! Answers.
If you're desperate, you can use this procedure in order to recieve a new serial code. (Please note that a lost serial code replacement will cost you $10 or roughly £5.)

Just FYI to all those wanting to register at the site. The sims2 site isn't the only place to download sims and objects. There are numerous sites out there dedicated to sims2 items and clothes and they are virus free. Not to mention, they are usually better quality than the items at the official site. So just use one of the ones listed to install your game, quit whining that you need an unregistered one, because you're not going to get it, and either suck it up and go buy a game of your own to register or go somewhere else to download stuff. |

Me and my dad bought Double Delux online but I recently had to switch computers due to virus and the game is already registered on my dads account but apparently he doesn't remember creating an account. THis was before EA switched to emails as usernames, and we don't know what he used as a username so we can't resend the password |

I have found out that justa s long as the code isn't registered with EAgames (thesims2.com) It is usable as me and my best freidn found out and that theres is not oly one code to your disc because Lulu (your codes work perfectly) has the same Open for Buisness code as me. So If you still want people to use this code, don't register with EA!
