We have posted drivers for the HP PSC 1100 series in our driver database that you can download to replace those that were on the CD you lost. Follow the link below that corresponds to the model you have:

I have an old disk to install hp psc 1100 series.I have a new system and I not able to install it. From my CD missing hpzr 3207.dll files. Can you send me a good one? Can you help me? |

| Non functioning printer HP PSC 1100
Cannot get my new lap top running Vista to recognise the above printer even though it has a USB connector. HP web-site says Vista should automatically recognise the printer once it has been plugged into computer by USB connector. This did not happen, and although I have the picture of the printer in control panel printers, there isn't an icon anywhere. The HP test download will not work because there is no drop down menu to choose the correct printer from (indicating that the printer has not been loaded/recognised). Any ideas please? |

Hi Carol
I emailed HP support a lot on this printer. I have a Vista laptop and HP do not supply s/w for this printer for Vista, you have to use the windows driver that comes with Vista.
Now this driver does not allow you to print in fast draft and also does not print grey scale amongst other things. I use fast draft a lot as it saves on ink etc. I complained to HP about this a lot but their answer was to buy a newer printer.
I have written to CEO of HP about this as I have only had the printer for 4 years and it works great with XP. My Mum has the same printer but a slightly later model (1 year older) and HP does supply a driver for that one for Vista.
HP is encouraging people to throw away perfectly good equipment that looks new. |
