I bought the above printer at a yard sale but am unable to get my computer (which is old) to "see it". Could you help please? I contacted Hewlett and I bought a CD - "READIRIS OCR software" but computer still will not recognize printer. Any solutions?

Like all the others, I lost the cd for my hp psc1210v. When I go to the hp website it allows me to 'download' the drivers....but the process would take 12 hours on my dialup! Is this possible? What do I do now?

same issue, I don't have the installation CD. I have downloaded the software from the website but in order to add the printer, I need to enter the manufacturer and model number, hp psc model 1210v doesn't appear, is there an equivalent?

same here. i have tried long and hard to download but no luck. I think hp is lax on customer service. I tried to download yesterday but after 3 and a half hours it was only 29% completed and my dialup isp shut it down
