i just bought a 1gb IMP-65 mp3 player, i can upload songs onto it and they wil play on the speaker dock i bought with it but wont play on the mp3 help!!11

i recently bought my wife a MP3 player every time i go to download it comes up as no file how do i down load this please help i dont even get the menu up in the disc all i get is the setup and thats all nothing else

yeah my friend tried to add songs to his mp3 player, and he thought the reason the songs wouldn't play was because he was on ME. so he gives it to me to add songs to, i am on xp, and adding the mp3's or wma's still isnt working, it just says there is 'no files'. anyone know how we can fix this? this imp-65 doesnt support licensed wma's, i know, but the mp3's arent working either. please email me back if you know how to solve this. thanks

The same as every one else. The player is in the wrong format and won't play the downloaded songs. Albeit the songs start on the computer in the right format when they are downloaded they are not known and won't play. They show up as 'DIR' and not MP3 or WMA etc...
What shall i do... Take it back and buy a better one...? Diffrent brand may be...?

I have just started loading mp3 tracks onto the IMP-65 and whilst the tracks and album name is appearing on the mp3 window, and you can scroll through the tracks and folders I still cannot play jack all!!!
Message appears "No Authority"

Hey there, I have recently purchased an IMP-65 MP3 player, after getting home I started putting my music on, I have tried all type of music file and with different directories (in a folder, no folder etc), It IS NOT locked, and I have followed all instructions in the manual but it still states the message No File.
Please help,

Manual for IMP-65 is poor. It's trial and error.
Are you still in VOICE mode?
In this mode you can still see MP3 files and folders but can't play tracks in them until you reselect PLAY MUSIC.
Unless you've saved any VOICE tracks you will get a No File message in this mode when you try to select Play.
My player doesn't store previous settings reliably and so it doesn't always power up in the same mode it was in previously. (Display illumination, Repeat/ Shuffle, volume are changed)
Other things to look for are Volume reset to 0, or still in PAUSE.

Nope, none of those things, but I took the MP3 back to the shop and they said it was a major fault in the line.

I have successfully downloaded wma files onto my IMP-65 player but when I try to play the songs I get the message "unknown format". Has anyone found a solution??

I have just bought my IMP-65 4GB version. I have successfully downloaded over three hundred songs and placed them in various folders. They will play in order or shuffle etc. But when I search through the files by the folder and ask it to play one it doesn't do anything and just goes back to the previous song. Do you think its just a fault or am I doing something wrong? I want to be able to select the indivdal folder to play without having to scroll through 300 songs!

yep, same problem - what have people done? have you taken them back or is there a magical fix?
i spoke to the support team who could not do anything and have emailed the comapny as advised by the support team.

my friends mp3 player(ipod) had the same problem. i used apple itunes software and the problem is solved. he can play all songs and no more "no files" message.
try this on yours too.

mine won't even let me put one full song onto it, i've tried with about 50 different songs. Everytime i try to put a song onto it, it says, "cannot copy (song name), cannot find the specified file. Make sure you specify the correct path and file name." Ihate it, my other mp3 player broke after about a year, but this one won't even let me put a single song onto it. If anyone knows how to solve this problem, plz tell me. |
