I brought a lexmark x1185 from a friend and they did not have the disk so i could download the printer to my computer. So if I can get help in sending the download info to me I will really appreciate that.

Use this link to download. When you use it use the 1100 series.It is the same as 1185.

then drivers & downloads
then enter your model number in the search box
then it will walk you through. I hope this helps!

I purchased a genuine lexmark colour 33 cartridge,
but I get a message saying "cartridge incorrect"
The one I took out was a genuine L/Mark cartridge. I did notice however that the new one
(cartridge) was especially sticky underneath the protective strip. Would this be why the cartridge
is showing up as incorrect, if so how could I remedy this fault ?

Hi Jo,
If you lost the installation disk for your Lexmark X1185 printer, you can download a new copy of the installation files that were on that CD from our driver database:

Hello.
Once I had a PC window server, and installed lexmark 1185 printer, scanner... It worked good.
Today I am using a laptop made Acer with Window Vista Basic. The problem is that I can't install the the lexmark apparatus.
Kindly help.
