I have a problem much like the rest of the people here. I purchased the game at the store and installed it. I used the code that came with the game, and I can play the game just fine. My problem is that I want to register my game on the official website so I can use the different mods and new downloads on there, but when I try to use my code to register it is telling me that it is an invalid code or that it has already been used. I don't really understand how that is possible because I have never registered it before now, unless they gave out the same code on multiple games or something. Does anybody know why it won't let me register on their website? |

| no mouse display in sim city 4 delux on windows vista
can anyone help? iv installed sim city on vista. but its not really showing my mouse pointer during the gameplay.but when im moving the mouse slowly, the pointer blinked in the direction am moving it.and when i stop moving it, it desapeared. is there anything (tweaks) i can do in the settings folder, i.e: (program files/maxis/simcity4...)??? or in game menu settings??? |

Ea games. Huh. I have bought the original game in an original box with an original book and registration code. I tried to download extra features but says game already registered. There is no way of unregistering it and as for there log on system it is %$*t !!! (with a capital S). There intention is to make you buy again. They are, like all software companies, businesses, and out to make money. |

I figured it out. In my case, I bought the sim city box.
I cannot register the Sim City 4 however, I can register the Sim City Destinations and Expansion Pack.
Apparently, both games share the same download sites.
Also, I registered the games when asked during the installation process.
Hope this helps in any way.

Is everyone on this forum really that fucking stupid?
1) For everyone asking for codes...LOOK AT THE FUCKING PAGE. I saw a post where someone gave the code, then the next post was someone asking for the fucking thing.
2) You don't need to register with EA to play the damn game. You get the code off the internet and you're surprised it doesn't work? Just put the damn code in, skip past the registration and viola, you're playing.
God damnit there are way too many stupid fucking people in this world. |

My kids like the Sims, but I didn't want to let them play Sims 2 in their rooms unsupervised.
