I was wondering if anyone could help me with this. I have 2 dvd burners and I have not had a problem with them ever, but all of a sudden my computer freezes and when I restart it both drives are gone. I have not installed or uninstalled anything recently, they do not show up in the device manager at all. I have been looking online and all the things I have found say to delete the "upper" and "lower" regestries but when I went to the folder they said I didn't have those files. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it. |

Oh and they still have power. You can open and close them, the disc spins but nothing else happens. |
