could any one please explain how to create a photo cd using a Traxdata CD-RW recorder and Nero burning software. Do I need to use a different type of disk to that used for audio recording |
|
 | Eric Georgieff on June 8, 2001 | RE: creating a photo cd
You can use the regular CD-R discs (74 minutes, 650 Mb) to create a photo cd. Just make sure you set the right options in Nero Burning ROM (when you pick the type of CD you would like to create, there should be a button that says "Photo CD"). |

| Tracey Matthews on June 8, 2001 | RE: creating a photo cd
Thankyou Eric for your reply.
I will give it another go and see if I have any more luck |

How do I go about creating a photo cd from a scanned source on Adaptec 4.0 software. I am using a Micro Tech scanner. The Adaptec software has settings for audio or data. If the files are data can I get them from "my images" (OS is Win Me) folder and burn them from there? |

I am trying to make a Cd using the photos from my digital Camera. I think I have put a few photos on the Cd but now I cannot add anymore. It says it exceeds the CD maximum. I know this cannot be true as I have only 8 photos on it.
I am using Adaptec Easy CD Creator 3.5
I have an HP computer and use windows 98.
I think I am not leaving the session open but I do not know how to leave it open so more photos can be added later.
Thanks for any help.

that because u have finalise cd turned on which in effect closed the door and makes it on writable if u are jus tusing as storage not as a photo cd for dvd player then turn it off but to play in dvd u need to finalise. also u need to select the option conitinue multisesion when u come to add more photos on to it if you are using it as storage |

Unfortunately it is not possible to make (Kodak, that is) Photo CDs on a PC. You would need the special expensive Kodak hard- and software, which is not for consumers.
Anyway, making Photo CDs is expensive, and aimed at professional photographers, as far as I know. I will keep on saving files on a CD in the common ISO 9660 standard, with TIF or PSD files. |

I can't seem to create a photo cd with
Nero. I've got a Casio QV-R4 camera and
have downloaded the photos on my PC
with the software that came with it.
When I tried to burn the photos to cd with
Nero, it said that I could only do it with two
different formats (none of which could I
save the photos in to start with).
Does this mean I can never save photos
onto cd using Nero or how can I save my
photos in that format when it's not
available.
The same goes for video clips. It says I
can burn video clips (I've got Roxio
Videowave 4 dv suite). I've managed to
save clips to my desktop, but when it
comes to burning them, it won't let me.
I wanted to save photo and video clips on
to cd so I could email them to friends as
I'm not on the Internet at home.
Sorry it's a long message, but can anyone
shed some light on this.
Hope so.

| BOB on October 11, 2003 | RE: creating a photo cd
Photo cds and vcds are two diffrent things, nero can't burn photo cds that can be played on a photo cd player (ie 3do). nero can burn vcds, if you want to view your photos on a dvd player use nero, the reason nero can't burn photo cds is that kodak would charge a fee for it and nero would cost 500$. it sucks damn kodak! |

| Louise on November 7, 2003 | Burning a photo onto CD using Nero
Hi,
I am a new at Cd burning. Thought what I wanted to do was simple... but learnt otherwise in my recent attempt. I have a new LG CDburner that came with Nero Express 5.5.9.9 & InCD3.39.0 software. I have followed the step by step approach in the manual and have not had success. All I would like to do is copy my digital camer's photos, which I have downloaded on my hard drive, on to a CD using this Nero express. All my photos are in jpeg format. Can you please explain in simple terms how to do this? |

which is better as a cd writer ; Aopen 52x24x52 with NERO express or CTX writer with same specifications and price?
Thank you (NO DVD required) |

| Brad on December 1, 2003 | RE: creating a photo cd
Creating a Kodak Picture CD is possible. However, it is a long and reasonably complex process but it is not a GENUINE kodak picture CD. There is a manual posted on this sight on how to make the CD.
http://www.tedfelix.com/PhotoCD/PCDMakeYourOwn.html
It requires some software which can be downloaded in a trial versions. |

Hello to anyone who can help me,
I recently purchased a digital camera and saved over 150 pictures on my laptop computer. Problem is, this makes the computer slow and difficult to use. I want to save my digital pictures on a CD, where I can keep them stored and get pictures of my choice printed off of the CD at a photo shop. I have NERO CD burner. If I get them stored on a CD, I want to be able to view them on my computer, as I don't have a VCD player and cannot afford one in the near future. Is this impossible? Please let me know and email me with step-by-step instructions. cagboka@hotmail.com, or christellita2000@yahoo.com. I am completely new to this technology and need it explained to me very clearly. Thank you.

| Partyboy on July 27, 2004 | RE: creating a photo cd
Load up Nero, select create a Data CD option. Drag and drop the folder containing the photos and click Burn to create a data CD with your photos on. The resulting CD will be able to play the photos on your PC using picture viewer within Windows and you can take it to be developed as well (Bonusprint is the cheapest I found at 10p a print, if you're in the UK that is) |
|
| Tom Ross on July 29, 2004 | RE: creating a photo cd
I also have Nero. I have attempted to create a data CD and then burn my jpeg photos. Each time I do this I get a message that there is not enough room on the CD even though it is a new CD with no data on it. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for any advice. |
