My Sims 2 game was working perfectly fine until for some reason it
stopped loading and would not work. I tried everything, scanned my
custom content, restarted my computer. Eventually i uninstalled it
hoping to install it again.
Now it won't install. When i put the disk in it starts off and i give it
my verification code. After this it just turns off and does not install.
Could you tell me what i should do? |

heey,
i uninstalled mine because i had to transfer it to the D drive but now it wont install again.. when i pu the disk in it comes of with run... i press run and then it says do you allow.. and i say i allow... then it just closes and doesnt do anything!!!

I need help too cus my game was running really slowly so i uninstalled it tried reinstalling it but then it says that i already have it insatalled but i don't any more |

ok i had my sims2 game for like a month and ive installed it one time i downloaded a really big house from ts2.com next thing i no is that when i click on a family 2 play thim my game freezes so i uninstalled the game.Now when i put the disc in and do the verification code my game starts installing but it takes forever and it gets further everyday today its at 56%. ive been trying to install it 4 like a week.PLZ IF ANYONE NOS HOW TO SPEED IT UP I NEED ADVICE!!!!!!!! |

Looks like you all have the same problem but I still don't have enough information. Did you have any custom content before you uninstalled?
I'd also like to know if the sims 2 folder in 'my documents' was completely deleted after the game was uninstalled. Sometimes the game doesn't uninstall correctly and files either stay where they are or end up all over the place. You may also want to contact EA if you get desperate and they may be able to help. |

me too like my friend had the sims 2 before me we installed it and everything and played it for like 2 mths and after that i got my own sims 2 so i uninstalled my friends one and done my one i went on all the documents left i tried to delete them but they wont be deleted and its not my games problem coz when i tried it on my uncles laptop it worked?????

It seems that I am having the same problem as many of you. I had to uninstall Sims 2 Double Deluxe, then when trying to reinstall it, my drive won't even read it. E Drive tells me to insert a disc, when the disc is in there. I can't get an Autorun screen, nothing. Very frustrated. |
