Hello.
I have a Lexmark X1290 All-in-one Printer which has been working fine on my desk top.
I still have the installation disc and have tried to instal the printer on my laptop. The programme seems to run fine and with no errors, however, no icons for the printer appear on my desktop.
I have just tried to instal the driver from your website, and exactly the same thing happens.
Are you able to help?

Hi Peter,
I wouldn't expect any icons to appear on your desktop. There should be an icon for your printer in the "Printer ans Faxes" folder (accessible from the Start Menu). The important thing would be that your printer is working. Can you print from a program?
