Hi
I have problems installing internal IDE cd-writer (Samsung).
As there is no free IDE slot in my computer (I have two hard disks and CdRom), I removed the CDRom. After that I connected the cd writer with the same cables the CDRom had been connected.
The problem is that when I switch the power on, the cd writer power indicator doesn't light and the computer does not started (without cd writer connected everything is ok). I checked the connection of the cd writer power cable and it seems to be ok.
So what may be the problem? |
