If it is Drivers you are looking for, you can download Win XP and 2000 versions from here:

For Win 98 and ME you can get the here:

I have a P-II /350 MHz PC having a CD Writer HP-8200 installed - It works beautifully in Win 98 medium to write CD s- ON upgrading my OS to Win-XP Professional. I am now handicapped with CD writing , as the Software of HP-8200 is not recognized by the new OS ! I tried to add the dll file: wnaspi32.dll by downloading it separately and pasting it to the CD -Writer SW- But it is still not recognized ! Could any of my friends at this website help me with a solution to this problem , please ? I would be very thankful to you for this help - |

hi i have one problem whith my hp cd-writer. When a try to writer a cd it says insuficients dates of the buffer. This problem ocours whith cds of music but whith dates it's don't have any problem.

Finally! having the exact same problem, except I had deleted the software from my laptop thinking it was another program I no longer needed, only to find that since then I can't burn cds, audio and data for back ups (I'm assuming I deleted a relevant and very important file). I loaned out my installation cd and don't anticipate its return.
I thought things were fine when through Real Player my cd appeared to be burning and it even came up "burn completed successfully" when I tried to view what was on the CD it was blank, and it does not seem to play in a CD player!!
Is there anyway to obtain a download of everything on the installation diskette?
Oh I too have an HP CD Writer plus 8200 series, external, usb...I never realised how many people are having the exact same problem
