i have a presario 7000z with the cd/rom and writer as of late it has problems with the writer the door will not open unless we reboot and will not run... it shows that it is reconized on the devise manager... what is our problem and how do we fix this.... is the unit no longer good is there a problem that you have a patch for and if so how do i get it.....the writer is the only one not working the other one we can put disk in and load things on computer..... please help so disappointed at this time..... philip lau |

The CD writer only plays music but I cannot writer anything.. everytime I do so it send a message saying 'Please inset a disc' but the CD is in the writer. |

my cd writer reads data but it dosen't write. it says there is some error with the recording media and it dosen't work even if I change the recording disc. can anyone help me out here please |

robert, i think u need to delete some unwanted files from u'r hard disk and make some free space.
