 | Sam on November 17, 2004 | Lost my IDE drives
My computer was having troubles, in as much as it was booting from a drive which was no longer used, and would only do that if I have a bootable CD in the drive in the first place. I did a repair installation of windows, and now it boots from the correct disk, although it still needs a bootable CD in the drive to work.
My new problem is that I have lost access to all of my IDE drives in Windows. They are detected in the BIOS boot, and even used (in the case of the CD drive), but when I get into Windows all that I am left with is my SATA hard disk.
Any ideas?
