I have recently brought a cd-rw and had it installed. But it doesn't seem to work. I can play cds on it but i can't record on it. It seems my computer is reading them as hard disks is this normal? when i go to device manager on my computer i see the two following messages under hard disks primary IDE controller (single filo) and secondary IDE controller (single filo). those two names have a yellow circle with and exclamation mark in them. Please someone help i'm desperate. I have installed the software that came with it. |

what do you mean by had it installed?
I suggest that you go in the BIOS of your pc.. go to the Advanced options (where there is a list of your drives) and run the autodetect feature.. |
