hi
since i updated to windows xp i have not been able to turn off my computer with the power button. I press it when prompted to do so but nothing happens. I have then to unplug my computer to turn the power off. has anyone else had this problem and how did you solve the problem.

Hi Jane,
You can always do a hard shut off with the power switch. Just press it for a about five seconds straight and your computer will be shut off.
