HI. I need help. i have just installed a cd writer and the easy cd creator software, I can copy music cd's but not data?? I have altered the DMA settings and still no luck. Can anyone tell me the correct configuration for this DMA on-off and what about the bios settings for the IDE port, IDEDMA-auto or off .Please help im about to put my foot through my computer.

If you are trying to copy copyrighted cds that have both data and audio your regular cd burning software will not copy them......it will give u an error message. Try downloading Clone CD from download.com.

I HAVE A DVD RW OPTORITE 1205 IT WORKED FINE WITH A DVD ROM. I INSTALLED A BENQ CDRW 5232 NOW ONLY THE 1205 WILL AUTOPLAY THE BENQ WONT AUTOPLAY AT ALL. I HAVE THE SAME SETUP IN ANOTHER COMPUTER WITH DIFERNT COMPONETS AND IT WORKS FINE. I RAN A CHECK ON THE BENQ IT SAYS THE MACHINE IS FINE. I AM LOST THANK YOU LEO |

I have a philips cdrw/800 (cd burner) and on my computer I have just added windows xp and the cd burner seems to don't work can you please tell me what I need to do to be able to burn my own cd's |

I have a old hp cd writer in my pc which seems to work fine. I have a newer benq cd writer which i had in another pc. I then put the benq in the same pc that the hp is in. The benq wont work at all. My pc doesnt even detect it. Any help? |
