I have a hardware related shutdown problem when I try to use my cdrom. It seems when I try to insert a disk and the drawer closes, the computer will restart. I have swapped out the cdrom twice to see if that was the problem, but to no avail. I am running a Compaq 7360 500MHz with 128Mbs ram using Windows 98SE. The system is completely updated with all the current Windows updates. Can anyone help with this problem? |
