I am trying to install a Lexmark X4270 all in one printer,scanner,copier,fax to my computer. I can't find the disk. is there a way it can be done without a disk? if there is i would appreciate it if someone would give me instructions. i would appreciate it. |

You can download the drivers for Lexmark printers by visiting lexmark.com, but you need a CD-R to save it on... it will not save on harddrive. Try visiting an internet cafe, or borrowing a computer from someone who has a CD-R to get your new copy.

EVERYONE, I have just found an ANSWER! And it only took me 2 hours of fiddling with my f!@#ing computer!
Ok, I have a Lexmark z25 and NO DISK. What you do for lexmark and probably the other printer types is GO TO THE MANUFACTURER WEBSITE. For Lexmark, it was www.lexmark.com. Go to the services section where you can find DOWNLOADS, find your printer model, and there should be a download option for your printer. Good luck, god I'm happy to get my printer working! |
