Hello,
Have a laptop hard drive which was devided into two partitions. Win98 was installed on one and WinXP on the other.
For some unknown reason(s) WinXP ceased to function, at the same time the CD drive icon disappeared.
The laptop is now operating in win98 only and the CD drive is not there.
As win98 uses FAT32 and WinXp NTFS, it is possible that access to the drive was through NTFS.
How can I recover the CD drive without reinstalling winXP |
