I am a high school senior looking for help with a senior exit project. I am trying to prove my thesis that due to the rapid changes in technology there is an inborn necessity to upgrade your hardware or software every 12 - 18 months. Can anyone point me in the direction of research that might help me prove this thesis? I am familiar with Moore's law.
