about harddisk

i installed a seagate 160G hard drive in my desktop computer, and i fdisk it in c:\d:\e:\f:
but now, once i install the windows 2000 again from windows xp, i found the area d:\e:and f: are missing, they become unpararized area, most important thing is i have stored some data in them. my question is how can i restore them, now i even can not see them. thank you very much!
