Hi people. Have a look at your mp3 player to see if you have the hold button on. When the hold is selected you will not be able to format or delete. Hope this helps |

I had recently purchased Digital MP3 player which also allow me to listen radio. It has a Hold button to which i tried on. But when i am turning it to Unhold it is still not getting unhold. It is still in Write Protection state. Please help me. I am worried. |

Take the wire lead out of the pc for about 30 mins and then try again and it should work. It was saying write protected for me aswell but the next day my brother tried it and it worked. Hope this works for you guys. |

I tried to copy music onto my cell phone using a MicroSD 128MB Memory Card and everytime that stupid messege pops up saying it's write-protected. Never had this problem before and now I can't even burn music to a cd using nero net burner. Help!!!! |

I had downloaded before and now when I do download tracks onto my disc for my i870 it'll be on there but, it won't play...something about it doesn't support the file or the code it used to compress it...but i'm doin' the same thing I did when I first downloaded...any answers to why this is happening?...any help will be much appreciated...thanks. |

look on the transflash adapter.if the lock is on then the the write is protected. unlock it then you are able to delete the unwanted files. but my prob is that i cant get my mp3 to play or even recognize my song file. will someone please let me know how to get the mp3 working. |

i got the firmware update for my iitronics 128mb mp3 player.... now the screen doesnt display no writing just flashes its "pretty" array of colours at me and also im gettin a write protected prompt but my hold button is in the off position... if any1 can help it would be appreciated..
p.s dissin others for spelling and grammer mistakes is an ignorance within itself.. |

Illtronics is a pain in the ass....but most should work aslong as the lock is off. with the lock on it WILL give you that write protected message |

i had the same problem with the msg 'write protected disk' so i made sure the lock was off but it still didnt work. I had to unplug the mp3 player from the pc first, then unlock it then plug it back in and now it's transferring mp3's just fine. make sure its unlocked b4 u plug it in to ur pc.

I'have got a S1 Mp3 Player firmware:Wilson co.ltd version 3.6.12.
model:1 joystick in the middle and 2 buttons on both sides.I've got the write protection device,my screen stay black.but I still get connection with my pc.I have tried to upgrade the firmware but it goes wrong.Please one advice:never, ever tried to upgrade. I paying the consequenses now.Now is there anyone know how to recover.
P.s I checked the hold button!

I have just found out how to put protected cds on to my mp3 player. I don't know if anyone else is having trouble with this. I down loaded cloneCD it has a 21 day trial and i am so pleased. I had to copy it to a blank cd then rip it back off but it worked. yeah yeah.
The original cd let me rip it to my pc but not to sync with my mp3. But i done it! |

TRY CLONECD IT WORKS IF YOU COPY TO A BLANK CD THEN RIP IT BACK OFF. THE COPIED DISK IS NOT PROTECTED. CLONECD HAS A 21 DAY FREE TRIAL.

get limewire to and get an audio converter so you can simply do your own...and when you convert a song just remember this 8 8 mono...8000kHz 8bit mono...thats the format for ring tones....ohh and name for password and shit just put anything |
