I do sympathies with you all but l did manage to rectify my problem.
Apparently Microsoft recognise that if you remove any software related to burning disks it will corrupt your CD drives. You do need to reconstruct your registry values.
If you go into Microsoft help, put in Code 41 and open all solutions you will see that you can either manually reconstruct your registry value or download it and automatically repair. It worked for me. Good luck. |
