what kind of speed should a udma 100 hard drive transfer at,
mine seems to have got really slow,i tested and its running at about 25MB a second,should this be nearer 100MB a second??
i know my hard drive is a bit slow(4500 rpm)
buit shouldnt it still transfer at 100MB per second????
my system is-
quantum fireball lct20 40GB hard drive
kt7 raid mobo
1gig athlon
creative 12x dvd/cd
lg 8162b writer
512meg ram

ahhh,im running the hard drive through the raid socket,with a scsi cable
what transer mode should i be using?
its on udma4 i think |
