I've added the Lexmark 2300 series drivers to our driver database. You can download these drivers and install them if you have lost the installation disc. You can find them here:

You don't actually need the installation CD. You should be able to just download fresh copies of the drivers from out database by following the link I posted above.

Hi Aurel,
You can download replacement drivers for your Lexmark 2300 series printer from our driver database (the drivers are what was on the disk that you lost).
If your printer was a Z2300 series printer, you can download the drivers here:

If your printer was an X2300 series printer (X2310, X2330 or X2350), you can grab the drivers from here:

Try using the Windows Scanner and Camera wizard to scan your pictures.
If you are using Windows XP, you can access this by going Start > Programs > Accessories > Scanner and Camera Wizard.

Hi Sadi,
Something seems to be wrong with the Windows Vista driver that Lexmark is providing for the X2300 series of its printers. No one seems to be having any success installing those lexmark printers on Windows Vista, even using the setup files provided by Lexmark for that very purpose.
I don't know what's wrong with them.

Power light is blinking. When opening the printer the print cartridge does not move to position to remove the cartridge. Troubleshoot section tells you to remove the cartridge to see if it stops blinking and replace cartridge. |
