I`ve a problem with the Sony CRX210E1.
When I will burn a CD my PC tell me:
Burning of the CD miss,
Illegal request:
Write Protected (5:0X27:0X00)
This is the error message.
If anybody can help me a little bit,

You need to goto Sony's Web site and download the
Firmware update for Sony CRX210E1

This fixed the Full Format problem with Direct CD |

Please help. I have the crx210e1 hooked up as an external burner through my USB. I can not find the .inf file for this particular model. I am running windows '98. I don't know how this file got deleted. |

I am unable to write cd with this drive. It writes till 3% then its stuck. Tried with Nero.
Terrible experience with a SONY product. |

Ok, i updated the firmware from 2YS1 to 2YS2 and also tried unintalling the CRX210E1 as advised by G.M. on 4/20/03 but am still having the same problem (cd burning process freezes at 5%) what do I do!!?? please help! |
