Windows Media Player will not Play Audio CD

I HAVE AN EMACHINES COMPUTER WNEN I TRY TO PUT MUSIC ON CD FROM WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER IT KEEPS TELLING ME TO PUT A CD IN IT AND IT ALREADY HAS ONE IN IT AND IT KEEPS KICKING THE CD OUT AND WANT BURN IT WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? I HAVE HAD OTHER COMPUTERS AND HAUE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM.

Hi Gladys,

I'm not sure what the problem might be. Have you tried playing audio CDs using software other than the Windows Media Player? You can try downloading and installing an alternative media player called "VLC media player" from this address:

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Try downloading and installing that software and see if it is able to play music CDs for you.
