To install the HP Deskjet 2050 J510a All-in-One Printer driver, download the version of the driver that corresponds to your operating system
by clicking on the appropriate link above. A window should then show up asking you where you would like to save the file. Save the driver file somewhere
on your computer where you will be easily able to find it, such as your desktop. Then follow the instructions below corresponding to the file type that you
downloaded
Go to the location where you saved the file and double click on the file. Then simply follow the on-screen instructions for installing the driver.

Excellent response from HP:
they replied within 1 day with the information ie
"From your software application, click the Print button.
- Make sure the product is the selected printer.
- Click the button that opens the Properties dialog box. Depending on your software application, this button might be called Properties , Options , Printer Setup , Printer , or Preferences .
Select the appropriate options.
- On the "Printing Preferences" Window, Click on the "Paper/Quality" tab.
2. Select "Draft" under "Quality Settings".
3. Click on "Apply" and then click on the "Ok" button."
WONDERFUL, tried that and printer produced fast economical .. ie used less ink.
