Free download and instructions for installing the HP PSC 1215 All-in-One Printer Driver for Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows XP 64-bit. For those who have lost the installation CD.
To install the HP PSC 1215 All-in-One Printer driver, download the version of the driver that corresponds to your operating system
by clicking on the appropriate link above. A window should then show up asking you where you would like to save the file. Save the driver file somewhere
on your computer where you will be easily able to find it, such as your desktop. Then follow the instructions below corresponding to the file type that you
downloaded
Go to the location where you saved the file and double click on the file. Then simply follow the on-screen instructions for installing the driver.

| Once you have downloaded the drevir you need to find the directory where you put all your downloaded files from the internet. In many cases this is the pre-existing download' folder. So when you find the downloaded drevir, open it and install it..then your drevir will be ready to use with your printer. |

HP website will step you through the below, utility removal 4 or 5 steps.
I had same problems for HP 1215 PCS All in One.
Delete all printers in your control panel. As they conflict with each other.
%Temp% in windows search bar, slect 'Organise' tab select all option. @organise' again and delete. This deletes all your temporary files.
Reboot computer, plug you USB and turn computer on and you don't have to download anything.
Windows 7 recognised my printer and its now printing fine. First print was delayed....but after that instant.
Try this out see how you go.

| Hi Johan. According to Hewlett-Packard, Windows Vista already comes with the drivers for running the HP PSC 1215 printer. So if you're using Windows Vista, you shouldn't need to download anything to get your PSC 1215 working. |

| Hi marienfons. Windows Vista should already come with the necessary software for running your HP PSC 1215 printer. All you should need to do is turn on the printer, connect it to your computer (using a USB cable) and then watch as Windows Vista auto-detects your printer and installs the necessary software. |

| Hi Kev. Can you try downloading the installation file for the HP PSC 1215 again? Also make sure you are downloading the right version for your version of Windows. If you don't know whether you have the regular version of Windows XP or the 64-bit edition, you probably have the regular version in which case you should download the link entitled "HP PSC 1215 Windows XP Printer Driver Download" If you have a version of Windows other than Windows XP or Windows 2000, then these drivers won't work for you. |
