I hate it. I almost never had to change the photo cartridges. Now this printer sucks the ink and I am always replacing the ink, very expensive. Also when a color runs low the printer won't print. My old printer would keep printing and most of the time I am printing things for info not for quality and now I can't print at all until I get MORE cartridges. | | Tom Bolin on October 17, 2009 | | I have to agree with Tony's comments on July 20,2009. I have never had this much trouble loading printer drivers. No problem with the print or copy part of the drivers but the "scan" drivers have been nowhere to find and load. The printer itself, prints beautiful photo prints; the best I have seen on any printer and better that Walmart prints. I will keep you posted in my quest to access the "scan" capabilities of this printer. | | Tony D. Smith on July 20, 2009 | If you have not purchased the HPC8180, for God's sake, don't. I have as much time in re-downloading the drivers and alleged fixes for this thing as I have in printing with it. It is clunky, noisy, balky, unreliable, wastes your paper and inks while it spews pages with gibberish code or stops printing photos in mid-page. Worse than useless, this thing is the digital equivalent of an oozing sore. Get a box of crayons and a Royal typewriter. You'll have a better and less painful result.
