Computer no longer recognizes these 2 internal optical drives *(Drive D and Drive E), but they used to work. Now, CD drive doesn't read or write discs. DVD drive does nothing. Can't install any new software, as most comes on a CD-Rom Disk.

We have Windows XP Pro SP-3 and are currently going bananas. We have new software which we are unable to use and can't do anything w/other CS's (music, photos, or text).
If anybody has answer or suggestions, please advise. HELP. We've done internet trouble-shooting search w/o any success or help.
