Just as Drew said, my HL-DT-ST-CD-RW-GCE-8481B won't read any CD's whatsoever. Games, music, nothing. Please, anyone with a working link, your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

i dont kno much about computer but gonna say it short and simple. i try to watch a dvd and it cannot read, so i look in device manager and there (2yellow question mark)
1- HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE 8481B
2- LITEON DVD-ROM LTD163
i have a dell dimension 4550, and also i try to fix my pc with the reinstallation cd microsoft windon xp home edition,doesnt read pls help i need does drivers??? ;p |

since receiving my pc back from a repair shop I cannot install software for my camera, computer games nor play any audio cds. The cd spins but nothing else happens. Any hints on what these so called specialists have done to stop the cd rom from working? I have never encountered a problem with my cd rom before until these people messed around with it. |
