I had the same problem with HP 1210 psc, I finally found my cd, but before that I went to
"HP Support & Drivers" in Google and listed my brand, followed easy instructions. It will take time but you can download free just make sure its "welcome.hp.com" my only problem is I dont have enough memory, so I bought Maxtor 80 GB storage. Good luck.

My hp psc 2175 all in one is connected to our new MAC. All of a
sudden, after I changed the color print cartridge, it keeps saying
"press enter to align the ink cartridges". This happens over and
over again, no matter how many time I press "enter". I've tried
unplugging, taking out the new ink cartridge, etc. When I try to
print, it WILL print pictures and maps, just not any printing. I am
thinking of uninstalling the HP software, and then reinstalling it.
Any other ideas? Thanks! |

I have been trying for weeks now to download a free driver from your site and it keeps having me fill out forms for servayes. I can no longer sit another 3 hours filling out servayes.
I have called your office and your tech group kept giving me diffrent file names to type in my browser but it just keep taking me back to the shopping page. I need my psc working. My ex-husband left me the psc but he forgot to leave the disc. |

Try holding down the setup button, then hitting the options button at the same time. It seemed to clear out this error message for me (I also read this on another site after having the same problem.) |

After I changed the black print cartridge, my hp psc 2175 all in one it keeps saying "press enter to align the ink cartridges" and when I press enter (as directed)it prints out a cartridge alignment sheet. Then it goes back to saying "press enter to align the ink cartridges" and prints out another sheet. It won't print or copy anything else. I'm just wasting ink. I've tried taking the cartridges out and starting again, with no luck.

one other thing. I believe the "HP full solution software driver" is the full CD via download -- at least I got all I needed to run the printer.

HP is seeky in this regard. cartridges have to be in place and not be empty/out of date. This policy makes people buy [very expensive] cartridges on a regular basis. They essentilly give away their printer/scanners and make a bundle on ink. The date is on the cartridge itself and keeps people from refilling them with after market supplies. I also believe the later models have a fullness sensor that has to constantly go down keeping you from refilling within the "expiration" date which is typically about a year and expiration may actually occur a month or so SOONER! I also believe there are people out there who can tinker with the firmware to get around this....

I installing the printer ....I following the insturction step by step ,but the 63% my pc is needed the usbscan and printig support and usbsys drivers and installation is finished and I look the desciption this CANNOT INSTALL THIS HARDWARE.

I downloading the originally english version for HP site , and doesn t work the printer.

I had the same problem with the 'align cartridge' error and I did what someone suggested "Try holding down the setup button, then hitting the options button at the same time." and it works great (little slower..but) it's printing! |
