Free download and instructions for installing the Dell A940 Colour Inkjet Printer Driver for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista. For those who have lost the installation CD.
To install the Dell A940 Colour Inkjet Printer driver, download the version of the driver that corresponds to your operating system
by clicking on the appropriate link above. A window should then show up asking you where you would like to save the file. Save the driver file somewhere
on your computer where you will be easily able to find it, such as your desktop. Then follow the instructions below corresponding to the file type that you
downloaded
Go to the location where you saved the file and double click on the file. Then simply follow the on-screen instructions for installing the driver.

| After hours of searching for the All-In-One Center software (required in order to scan), I came across a back-up I made years ago. Fortunately it works, in unison with the drivers available on Dells website (available: R74855, R153049, R153717). The one that was needed and was unavailable, containing the AIO Center software for use on Windows 7, was called R153050. Dell's forum thread didn't work for me and looks to be out-of-date. If anyone is still using this kit, I can upload the files required. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how I can do this, perhaps an admin can direct me if a request arises. |

| I called Dell Tech supoort about the same problem, and asked if I had the CD that came with the printer, but I could NOT find it so the Rep. downloaded one of the drivers from the Support web site, ran it and now my A940 works fine. They DID NOT charge anything for this service and the tech was very helpfull and knew his stuff. |
