To install the HP Officejet g85 All-in-one Printer driver, download the version of the driver that corresponds to your operating system
by clicking on the appropriate link above. A window should then show up asking you where you would like to save the file. Save the driver file somewhere
on your computer where you will be easily able to find it, such as your desktop. Then follow the instructions below corresponding to the file type that you
downloaded
Go to the location where you saved the file and double click on the file. Then simply follow the on-screen instructions for installing the driver.

I think I need to reinstall the software to my HP G85. I know it's old, but it still works. I esp. want to enable the scanning commands from my MacBook Pro 17" (OS 10.6.8)
Should I download the Driver or the Driver -- Product Installation Software?
Nothing on the page suggests which one is appropriate for me.
I am praying that you won't tell me that the HP-G85 will not work with the Mac OS 10.6.8 on my Intel MacBook Pro.
I appreciate any help you can give me.

| I tried to install the g85 driver 3.10 update on moms XP computer and now it dont work. she dont have USB and now i got to go back and find the old driver, cant find the old one on line... HP knows there will be issues already. so why cant they make a simple printer driver for this printer, Mom dont have a K printer(USB) and the option wasnt there although it did recognize the printer correctly on install so why doesnt it work. the install didnt give the option to put an icon on the desktop/tray, didnt get to see a dialog box which mom uses to access the printer/scanner.Mom is pissed...(at me);( (download,install,tweak,and print.) |
