I had no sound from my computer and discovered the cause:
I had accidentally pressed Fn+End key which mutes the speakers.
Pressing Fn+End again restored sound from my speakers.
Maybe this is the cause of your problem.

if your serious about geting sound back then try this it took me 4 weeks figuring this out i couldnt believe it was that easy. trust me i know how you feel without sound
1.click start
2.click all programs
3.click accesories
4.click system tools
5.last but not least click system restore then you will see a calender click back to the day you had sound then just click restore and your computer will come back the way how it was before the sound went away trust me it will work.if it work send me a mesage by my email at jimelmonroe@hotmail.com |

I had to go back to ie 6 to install musicmatch 7.0, installed great but i now have no audio at all. have checked everything, uninstalled and reinstalled sound drivers etc...music appears to play, but still no sound. thanks in advance any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |
